Frequently Asked Questions
The questions we are asked most, from the quotation process and lead times to documentation and field support.
01Orders and quotations
How quickly do you respond to a quote request?
Same day for stocked items, and within 24 hours on average for custom-made or imported products. If you include the workpiece material, machine and quantity with your request, we can finalise pricing in a single round.
Is there a minimum order value?
There is no minimum for stocked cutting tools and consumables. For custom tooling and imported equipment, any minimum quantity is stated per product at the quotation stage.
What are your payment terms?
First orders are handled on a prepayment or bank transfer basis. For regular customers we set up payment terms and open account facilities after mutual review.
Can I get a quote from a project take-off?
Yes. For construction and shipbuilding projects in particular, send us the take-off list or technical specification and we will price it item by item and include a delivery plan to site or yard.
02Technical support
I'm not sure which tool to choose — can you help?
That is the main part of our work. We discuss the workpiece material, the machine's power and rigidity, the workholding and your target cycle time, then decide on the tool, coating and holder together. We also provide starting cutting speed and feed values.
Do you supply trial or sample tools?
Yes, for critical applications heading into series production. We run sample cuts, review the result with you, and change geometry or coating and retest if needed.
Do you commission the equipment I buy?
For equipment such as pipe threading, edge rounding and bevelling machines we commission on site and train operators in use and daily maintenance. We continue to supply spare parts and consumable inserts.
What happens if tool life is shorter than expected?
We look for the cause together first: parameters, workholding rigidity, coolant or tool clamping. If the problem stems from our recommendation, we cover the replacement tool.
03Supply and delivery
How long does a non-stocked item take?
Typically 2–5 working days for items sourced domestically. For imported and custom-made products the lead time varies by item and is stated firmly in the quotation.
Do you hold stock for recurring consumables?
Yes. For regular customers we hold safety stock on critical items and set up a scheduled delivery plan based on consumption rate, so machines never wait for tooling.
How does shipping work?
We ship throughout Türkiye via contracted courier and freight services, and arrange specialist transport for heavy equipment. Direct delivery to construction sites and shipyards is available.
Do you export?
Yes, we ship regularly to 16 countries. Customs documentation and the delivery schedule are prepared together with order confirmation. Delivery terms (EXW, FOB, CIF) are agreed at the quotation stage.
04Certification and quality
Do you provide material certificates?
For items where it is requested, 3.1 / 3.2 material certificates are delivered with the goods together with batch and lot numbers. On aerospace and defence projects these documents are filed as standard.
Are your bolts CE certified?
The bolt, nut and washer ranges we supply for construction and structural steel are CE-marked and come with a declaration of performance (DoP). Documents are provided per batch.
Do measuring instruments come calibrated?
We can supply instruments with calibration certificates, and we can direct you to accredited laboratories for periodic calibration of your existing equipment.
Is there a warranty on products?
Manufacturer warranty applies to equipment; duration and scope are stated on the product sheet. Cutting tools and consumables found to have a manufacturing defect are replaced.
